Families for Safe Dates is a family-based program for preventing teen dating abuse that has been evaluated using a randomized controlled design. Researchers and prevention practitioners will discuss the development, structure, conceptual basis, and research-based evidence of Families for Safe Dates and explore the benefits and challenges of involving families in the primary prevention of teen dating abuse and considerations for implementing programs such as Families for Safe Dates.
