This assessment tool, developed by UNICEF based on the experience of using qualitative participative assessment tools in five countries, is for researchers and practioners working with children. The tool provides guidance on assessing violence in the home, neighborhood, school and institution and in the workplace and includes a rapid assessment session on assessing violence in the home as well as in and around the school and workplace. The violence in the home session is a prerequisite for the others, which may be used independently of each other or together. An Introduction to this tool is also available (English; 18 pages).
