Global Training on Engaging Men in GBV Violence Prevention

Day(s): 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26

This 8 day training on Engaging Men in Accountable Practice (EMAP) to Prevent Violence against Women and Girls facilitated by the IRC in collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) will equip participants with the knowledge and skills to train others on EMAP, as well as provide the participants with techniques to engage with necessary stakeholders for engaging men and boys in the prevention of violence against women and girls. Participants will also receive on-going technical support including one-on-one coaching, web-based discussions, and access to a peer network for shared learning and ongoing support.  This is a unique professional development opportunity to improve skills and knowledge on gender-based violence prevention programming. 

Training Dates: February, 4 – 12, 2015
